I am super excited to begin a 90 day journey of transformation, starting today. I have always loved putting myself through periods of practice and discipline – so today, I am beginning a new chapter of physical, emotional, and spiritual transformation.
I have always believed that working with affirmations are more effective when I am eating clear, clean, and high vibrational foods. My latest book, Eight sacred commands of the heart is a smaller companion to the larger book, The Love-Awakening Energetic Mastermind. The chapters of this book are spiritual and energetic broadcasts of pure love. They are designed to be read slowly in combination with deep and profound breathing to fully absorb the statements into the heart. They help us awaken the love within our cells and atoms, channel the energy of love, open to our vulnerability, connect with the sacred spiritual sound of Aum, feel more grateful all the time, forgive ourselves, embody our highest joy, and hold the whole planet in our heart-spaces of pure love.
1. For the next 90 days, I am going to put my own book to the test. I am going to breathe and read at least 2 chapters every day, cycling through all of them over and over again. In addition to this, I will be transmitting the vibration of love through my hands, as I have previously committed to do so. I am on the first few days of a long 12 year journey of doing this simple, daily meditation practice. My inquiry: How will doing this for 90 days help me awaken spiritually? How will I feel after 90 days?
2. In addition to breathing the chapters, I am going to consume only an assortment of green veggies, nuts, seeds, etc. I am going to drink my veggies during the day, and eat them at night. What is acceptable is organic tofu, daiya cheese, protein powder, and condiments for my salads. It is basically a pure vegan diet. I have been vegan for quite some time, but unhealthy in so many ways. I am going to stay away from processed foods, dairy (bye bye Indian food!, I love you!), white bread, potatoes, pasta. So it is green veggies, like kale, collard greens, spinach, lettuce, chard, parsley, etc. It is carrots, apples, pears, bananas, and the beloved avocado.
3. Exercise. I am going to walk or run for at least 4 hours per week, as much as possible. This has been the biggest challenge for me, as my day job involves a lot of driving. I have low good cholesterol, and the way to get this number to increase is through exercise.
4. Get on this blog and write about my challenges and victories. Writing my gratitude, my affirmations, etc. This will motivate me to keep going.
The challenges that I foresee, are as follows: I get stressed out easily, and get tired of chopping and cutting veggies every day. I can’t stand constant repetition and monotony. When I am driving a lot, I love to go eat as it helps reduce my stress. So I know I am going to hit walls of just not wanting to go any further. Nevertheless, I can do it.
The main purpose of this discipline is to study the connection between practicing heart-centered affirmations and eating clear foods. Does a healthy diet help the affirmations do deeper? Is there a connection between the two? Can I grow more spiritually by putting better stuff in my body and exercising more?
I want to discover the answer to these questions experientially. I commit to really following through with this commitment. I really want to be around when my daughter gets through high school, and a good clear, plant based, whole foods diet is the way to help that happen.
